We are enjoying our beautiful California weather... playing outside and getting some work done in our yard. Both girls love to help dig. The other day when we went out, Abby headed straight for the shovels and picked up one for her (the plastic toy) and a garden trowel for me. She came trotting to me holding out the trowel.

Eloise enjoyed showing off her newly cut hair. She says it is medium. Not short, and not long. We are hoping it is a little less tangly for brushing. She still loves her ponytails and braids
This seems to be becoming a common occurrence. Abby wakes up around 5 or 6, and if we bring her to bed with us she will go back to sleep until 8. Eloise wakes up and decides she wants a cuddle and comes to join the group.
Both girls enjoy helping in the kitchen. After Eloise picked out some cookie cutters, Abby discovered they were great for banging on the floor.
Abby has discovered a new challenge. She is now very excited to try out stairs when she gets the chance. She is quickly mastering "up"
Abby did pretty good for her first encounter with Santa. She was willing to go check him out, since Eloise was already there.
