Eloise is beginning to look more like her daddy to us. Especially around the eyes
We indulged Eloise with several of her favorite activites for her birthday. We spent some time at the park in the morning. We fed the ducks, played on the swings and just had fun walking around.
Eloise's lastest skill pursuit is climbing. She was thrilled with the boxes around the house. Especially when mommy foolishly placed them close together.
At first Eloise was just charmed with the colorful wrapping. But soon she found that this one made noise! Then she started digging in to see what she could find.
Eloise has had fun with her new toys, especially the ones that make noise. This car rattles and shakes and squeals its tires. Thanks Grandma!
Eloise had fun conducting her parents' grandparents and Aunt Kris for a birthday party stroll. She loves walking up and down the block, checking out the sprinklers, flowers and fallen leaves. We try to get out for a little while every afternoon.
This patch of petunias is a favorite stopping point on every walk.
Eloise was fascinated by her cake. She spent a while just exploring the texture. She seemed a little disturbed by the frosting on her fingers until she got some in her mouth. Then she was very excited.
The cake had a short life, but it was well loved. Most ended up on the floor (on a plastic table cloth over the carpet), follwed by deposits in every nook and cranny of her high chair (which is now very clean since we dismantled it and hosed it down) and on arms and face. She did manage eat a good sample
