2 sets of sisters: Eloise and Abby, Lucy and Claire, playing together
Abby loves books... rather obsessively. She really loves it when she finds one of Eloise's books in reach.
This was the ornamental plum in our backyard
large woody debris from the plum and the willow. The leaves from the willow took 3 weeks of yard waste bin.
Eloise has discovered leggings and is very pleased to meet them. She loves wearing them with her skirts now that the weather is cooler.
Eloise was very pleased with her Halloween costume. She is practicing her take-off pose and learning how to manage a long dress and fancy sleeves while performing necessary witch activities.
Abby is the first toddler I ever encountered that was patient enough with a tootsie-pop to see it through to the end. It means she gets much more sticky, but I don't find partial lollipops on the floor. I can live with that.
Eloise was excited to assist more with pumpkins this year
She practiced using the pumpkin carver on the lid for a tiny pumpkin
Eloise carved most of the face of her jack-o-lantern.
From the left: Minnie Mouse, bat, small scary face, happy face (Eloise's carving), big scary face, cyclops, grave stone. Eloise was the deisgn consultant for all pumpkin carving. Eloise says the painted pumpkins are Saturn and Earth.I carved the Minnie Mouse, Robert did the grave stone.
The princess witch and her young companion
Weren't fairies supposed to be cute?
This is what happen to glow necklaces when the kids get tired of them
Robert happily brought home luscious chocolate cupcakes from his sister. He set them on the table. He walked away for a moment. He mourned.
This bin is for storing stuffed animals. They have an amazing number of secondary purposes. Abby is cuddling with stuffed animals in their own space.
When she was a toddler, Eloise had a specific blanket, a specfic pillow, and 2 toys that needed to be with her for a bottle. Abby is equally obsessive but not so specific. She must have a blanket, and preferably as many as she can carry... possibly more.
