Eloise had crazy hat day at her preschool. She directed the decorating of her hat. The elephant on top is decorated with pipe cleaners. The crepe paper hangs in swoops all around the brim, but you can't see her face when it all hangs down (she thinks that is very funny)
Eloise loves dancing with her Daddy. For this occasion she dressed up as Princess Minnie for a fancy ball and invited her "Prince Mickey" to come dance with her.
Eloise is delighted that we have decided it's warm enough she can play in the sprinklers.
Abby is delighted with any outing, but the park is extra fun. Afte a fun time running to the duck pond and back, she is ready to relax in the swing.
Eloise loves to find flowers and share then with her family
If we let her out in the front yard, 9 times out of 10 she will run straight for this grate. The other time, she takes off down the sidewalk and doesn't stop.
Abby liked the more controlled area of the small "water hopscotch" sprinklers rather than the full array of the lawn sprinklers.
It's all fun and games until somebody falls in the mud
The food Abby asks for by name. She can easily devour a banana in one sitting, and now prefers them in large chunks rather than diced.
Abby continues to enjoy riding the merry-go-round, all the colors and motion, and being on her own horse.
This is how Eloise prefers to approach the "scary room" at the haunted house. Notice hands over ears too.
Grandma was greeted by butterflies almost immediately when we visited the butterfly jungle at the Wild Animal Park.
Eloise was distraught when the buterflies didn't land on her upon arrival at the butterfly jungle, but perserverence (and a little help from mom for one) payed off, and she was delighted.
Eloise liked the orange flowers at the Wild Animal Park, and was so pleased they matched her. She is also very proud of the stalk of grass she is holding, and wanted to make sure we could see it in the picture.
This is one of Eloise's favorite spots top stop for a bit at the Wild Animal Park. She likes to be the baby bird and have her mommy bird look after her. Abby is looking on, waiting for her chance to climb in, waiting very patiently (for a 1 year old) and intently.
Abby gets her turn... control of the egg!
