Eloise and her cousin John enjoy playing together. They make up elaborate stories and big plans and have fun equiping themselves for their adventures
Knocking over all the chairs on the patio seems to be one of Abby's favorite passtimes. Eloise took it upon herself to arrange them and say Abby had trapped them both.
Mom did an insect day for Eloise's preschool The girls visited with the bugs afterwards. Abby approached carefully
Abby was surprisingly gentle with the bugs. She touched softly.
Eloise loves the hissing cockroaches. She had a great time playing with them and letting them crawl on her arms
Eloise was delighted when the walking stick crawled across her face and up on her head. She was sure it meant they were friends.
I left some soda out after grocery shopping, meaning to put it away later. Abby has now adopted it as her favorite place to sit. She heads there to drink, snack and read books.
Abby has lately delighted in trying on shoes. She likes these ones because she can get her feet inside and they stay pretty well (much better than Mom's birks).
Eloise's shoes are even better, they are shiny and go clomp clomp across the kitchen floor.
Abby likes dolls and stuffed animals. she takes them out to play with her.
Abby now sports 9 teeth. 4 in front top and bottom, and a molar in the back. We are relieved to have the molar all the way out, she was not happy while it was coming through.
Just a quiet morning hanging out, watching Playhouse Disney and eating nanas
Eloise and Andrew enjoying the temporarily wet creek that runs through the park. Abby has discovered the joy of throwing rocks in water.
We visited a museum with a fun Noah's ark display. This is a big room set up with 2 decks, lots of places to climb and lots of activites and puzzles for kids.
Abby was delighted with the kitchen and a nice cooking pot just at her level.
Eloise loves to help me take care of the roses when it's pruning time.
And they get along just fine.
